Summer 2018 Trips
In June a group of youth and chaperones went to the Chattahoochee National Forest in northern Georgia for a week. The wilderness areas allowed the group to go off trail in the rugged mountains of the East. The mountains offered wonderful challenge opportunities along with unparalleled beauty.
During the July mission trip our team helped the Rio Piedras (San Juan) community recover from the aftermath of hurricane Maria, and served the Puerto Rican people. Our group worked with a local church “Iglesias de Nazarene” of Rio Piedras, as we participated in ministering to the homeless, served at soup kitchens, created a local VBS for the church, and much more. The mission team consisted of more than 30 people.
