Would you like to stretch our church at PCPH? Are you searching for hands on growth in your personal faith, and as a disciple of Christ?
If so, I am very excited to tell you about a new weekly “Evening Worship” that will be taking place at PCPH on Sunday nights, beginning on February 10th through May 5th. This will be a worship experience where practice-based faith is participated in and where liturgical and interactive worship come together as we grow in Christ and with one another.
What can you expect from this worship service? Each week as a worshipping community, we will be moved by a liturgically based modern worship, and learn new ways of worshipping that are being practiced throughout the wider church community. This service is designed for all ages and will be interactive, engaging and reflective. We will love God (always!) through communion, an offering, reading scripture (Lectio Divina), self-examination through scripture and much, much more. It will allow each of us more time to draw nearer as Christ followers. The service will be start in the Sanctuary each week beginning at 5 p.m. and will last about 45 minutes . Childcare will be provided for those with young children and coffee and conversation will be offered after the service in order to further our growth as followers of Christ.
So, come! Come as you are, with no “to do” list and no responsibilities. Come to grow, learn and explore. Whether you are eager or tired, worn out or enthusiastic, come and be filled by the power of the Holy Spirit.
